I had wanted to see a Martial Eagle up close and personal in the wild. I knew that my chances were slim because Martial Eagles occupy massive territories. Despite this,I was lucky to see an eagle with a full crop just outside of Aus in Namibia. I sat and watched it for half an hour before the eagle decided that it had had enough of me and flew off.
